Age: 14
Demigod/Hunter/Satyr/Nymph: Demigod (Athena)
Demigod abilities: An alarming natural talent for hand-to-hand combat. She is a tiny blonde ninja.
Personality:
In another life, Bobbi would make the perfect cheerleader - cheerful, friendly and energetic, with just the right amount of sass - and it's easy to mistake her for one now. She never seems to run out of energy, and she's generally good with people, even complete strangers. Bobbi's version of "friendly", however, does come with a good dose of sarcasm and mockery; she tends to give teasing petnames to just about everyone she comes across, and if you're around her for an extended period of time you're either going to have to learn to shrug off a certain amount of teasing or become very irritated very quickly.
Like any true child of Athena, Bobbi is very intelligent and loves learning. She craves knowledge like air or water, and most of her free time is spent in pursuit of it. While most of her learning up until now has been focused on science and math, she will throw herself as eagerly into knowledge of mythology and monsters with its new relevance to her life. She does tend to prefer learning with concrete uses, wisdom she can turn to a purpose, even if it's not immediate; knowledge is both a weapon and a tool in her hands, though she doesn't actively think of it that way. She doesn't always seem to realize that most people don't know everything she does or grasp it as easily, and can be a bit of a superior know-it-all when it comes up - it's rarely malicious, but she is quick to correct others' errors or misunderstandings and point out the right answer, only a little condescendingly.
When Bobbi wants something, she goes after it with everything she has and does not give up. Her focus in pursuit of her goals is so intense, it can get a little worrying. When she's working on a project, for instance, she has a tendency to forget almost everything else in her life until she's done with it, and once she makes a decision she barely hesitates leaving things behind to move in what she feels is the right direction - once she's spent some time at camp, and sees the need for heroes in the world, she'll hardly even consider going home. She's also stubborn and extremely independent, the type of person who works best when she's making her own plans and decisions, and anyone telling her to do things a different way will just result in her digging her heels in and pushing that much harder in the other direction.
This attitude does have its negative side, though. While it is helpful in that her hard-headedness means she doesn't know how to give up, she is also reckless, impulsive. She's so used to having all the answers and being quick on her feet, she doesn't think twice about jumping into a situation where she may be over her head... sometimes just to spite someone who thinks she can't handle it. The fatal flaw of Athena's children is pride, after all, and Bobbi has it in spades.
What's more, although it hasn't come up much in her life so far (except in a few nasty fights with her brother, and wasn't it fun for him explaining how his little sister beat him up), she is rather inclined toward violence, especially when provoked. She doesn't use it as an automatic reaction to all disagreements, and she doesn't use it carelessly, but... Her mother is the goddess of just war, and when she or her friends are hurt, or when someone is really and truly a bad person, Bobbi loses all sense of proportion and all ability to hold herself back - she will end that person, with careful and calculated strategy, unless someone stops her.
AU History:
Bobbi was born and grew up in San Diego, California. Her father was a military scientist, and her mother... well, Bobbi thought she was her actual biological mother, for a start. Her older brother Benny was from her mother's first marriage, she knew, but she'd always thought her parents had married before she was born. Turns out, not so much.
For a long time, that didn't matter, because her life was fairly normal. Her stubbornness and love of learning meant that she excelled in school despite her dyslexia, and when she started middle school it was at a charter school focused on science, her particular interest. She's been studying various martial arts since she was five - her parents stuck her in classes initially in an attempt to find an outlet for her energy, and she took to it innately, finding it one of the few places where she could really focus.
She's always been somewhat of a daddy's girl, closer to her father than her mother - it's not that she was a bad mom, or even all that distant, but there was a disconnect somewhere. Her father was extra protective of her for reasons she never quite understood, indulged and encouraged her interests, and spoke to her as an intelligent equal; her mother sometimes looked at her like a cuckoo in her nest, like she couldn't imagine how this child had come into her life.
Bobbi's normal life was disrupted one day when a sea monster attacked her at a friend's beach party. She managed to get away in one piece, no one was hurt, and later everyone but Bobbi chalked the panic up to a shark a little too close to shore. When she told her dad about the incident, however, his reaction was rather different - worried for her safety, he told her about her real mother, and started making preparations to send her to camp. She's still reeling from this revelation, and has not yet met or spoken to Athena, or even any other demigods, and not even sure she wants to be at camp... though she is admittedly curious about this new world and whole other part of her she was unaware of until now. So... she'll give it a shot. Who knows, maybe she'll learn something.

Iris Message:
[ Bobbi's frowning into the mist a little dubiously, like she's not sure this is going to work - and then her eyes widen in surprise as the image resolves. ] Is there actually a goddess hanging around delivering messages between demigods? I mean, is she personally involved in this? Because it seems like she'd have better things to do with her time...
Can these things go anywhere? Like, can I call my dad to let him know I'm still alive? Does the camp let parents know when we get here, or... [ She blows out a frustrated sigh. ] No one here is really great at explaining things.
Third Person Log:
Bobbi never paid a lot of attention to mythology before now - she learned it in school like everyone else, sure, but she's never been much for fiction. Of course, that's not what mythology is anymore - it's as much fact as history, it turns out, so she's been playing a little catchup, spending her free time sitting out on the grass with a pile of books at her side.
It's hard enough ordinarily focusing on the words, translating the jumble of letters into something she can actually understand, and a lot harder when she has to try and tune out the laughter and shrieking of a satyr nearby chasing a dryad. Bobbi glances up in annoyance, pushing her glasses up her nose as she watches the green-skinned girl races past. She glances to the satyr following, and casually stretches out a leg, her foot just at ankle height, as he reaches her.
Bobbi bites back a smile as he faceplants in the dirt, hooves flying into the air, but by the time the satyr looks over at her indignantly, she's schooled her face into arch disapproval. "What was that for?" he demands.
"If she's running, chances are she doesn't want to kiss you." She pauses, and then turns back to her book with a sigh. "Also, you're really loud."
